With an increased awareness of manual handling risks, LEEC have specifically designed this trolley to cater for extra heavy loads, especially those involving bariatric cases. With a substantial construction the unit features a powerful electric power traction drive, to provide both ease of movement and precise manoeuvrability required even when fully loaded.
Particularly versatile in restricted space, the integrated traction offers a 30 km range on a single charge, enabling use not only for transfer and fridge loading, but also as a concealment trolley, using the optional frame and cover.
Parameters such as speed and torque are fully programmable and can be factory configured to suit any hospitals individual topography, enabling safe operation by one person.
Finished in a durable powder coated finish, the stable platform is built to withstand continual use. The control panel provides battery status and key operated functionality, whilst forward and reverse motions are fitted with safety interlocks.
The pump motor and battery are fitted in a steel housing which encloses the battery, motor and integral battery charger. Vertical elevation is provided with a single speed, power assisted hydraulic pump.
The trolley can readily be enhanced with a number of options to cater for many purposes in the mortuary, making this a useful, versatile and indispensable tool.

Below are the Options which are available on the Traction Stacking Trolley. Please be aware that LEEC will endeavour to meet every customer requirement request.

GB - Gel Battery
Leak proof battery idea for export use.
BA - Bariatric
The option fits a uprated hydrolic ram which allows the unit to lift up to 65st 413kg.
PUL - Powered End Roller (Tray Retractor)
Load and unload body storage trays onto the trolley with the push of a button to prevent the need to manually pull the body storage trays out of the racking system or cabinet onto the trolley.
R - Raised Roller
The trolley rollers are raised up above the framework of the trolley for use with Inverted Arms.
PO - Pass Over
The pivoting tray catch is replaced with a drop pin tray stop so that body storage trays and coffins can be loaded and unloaded from either end of the trolley.
SL - Side Loading
Removable side loading attachment allows coffins or side loading body storage trays to be loaded sideways for when there isn't enough room for the standard end loading operation. This side loading attachment is interchangeable and can be fitted to the trolley facing either left or right.
FD - Funeral Director Rollers
The plain trolley rollers are replaced with raised centre coffin rollers and a coffin lock on the top frame of the trolley which can be used to stop the rear roller rotating. Raised coffin rollers are compatible with all varieties of LEEC body storage trays as well as for coffin.
SSF - Stainless Steel Finish
Upgrade all of the framework of the trolley from powder coated mild steel to Grade T304 Stainless Steel with a Grained and Polished finish so that the trolley matches the majority of mortuary equipment that is stainless steel. Stainless steel also offers better corrosion resistance than powder coated mild steel that can potentially rust if the paint is scratched.
