Bramcote Crematorium

The Project

Following an extensive report; LEEC designed, manufactured and installed a body storage system with cremator charger and docking station for Bramcote Crematorium. Bramcote required a complete refurbishment of the entire crematorium to cope with increased capacity and improve energy efficiency.

The fully insulated unit was designed to support coffins and body trays within the crematorium and throughout the cabinet. The internal system featured an inbuilt rigid structure that was manufactured from stainless steel, allowing for an even temperature throughout the cabinet. The well-designed unit that was specifically tailored to physically support the operator as well as improve dignity for the deceased within the crematorium.

The LEEC Kompact X Cremator Charger allowed the coffin to be taken directly from the rear of the cremator in one movement, without the need for additional manual handling, as is frequently the case for settings equipped with fixed chargers. The substantial construction and powerful traction drive provided ease of movement and precise manoeuvrability for the operator. This model is specifically designed to physically support the operator as well as improve dignity for the deceased. The simple operation ensures that it’s suitability for use even when being viewed directly by the public, in the case of witnessed cremation, as required by some religions.
