Case Study

D Hollowell Funeral Directors

LEEC manufacture and fit Body Storage Solutions For D Hollowell Funeral Directors, using modern technology and features that best suit the facility.

The project

LEEC Limited designed, fitted, supplied and installed a 5-bay/25 body capacity storage unit for the family-owned funeral home in Blackpool. The internal modular system consisted of open stainless-steel racking to support body trays and coffins and provide easy accessibility for the operational user. The open racking ensures an even operating temperature of +2°C to +7°C to ensure an ambient temperature throughout. LEEC also manufactured 660mm & 750mm wide trays for the system which featured a ribbed design for a crevice free construction.

The internal evaporator fitted was utilised to remove heat from the air, water and other items from within the unit. The external condenser was housed outside and is the ideal solution for funeral settings and enclosed spaces to support capacity. The stainless-steel plates provided protection against trollies and other items within the facility.

LEEC Limited design, supply and install refrigerated body storage equipment across the UK and overseas. We offer a wealth of experience in body storage systems for use within both Mortuary and Funeral Director Facilities.
