Warrington Hospital
An initial condition report carried out by LEEC Ltd for all Mortuary Body Store and Post Mortem equipment aided Warrington Hospital with their business case for full refurbishment.
The project
The phased works commenced at the end of 2020 and completed in November 2021. This included new Body Stores, Post Mortem Tables, Dissection Benches, Stainless steel storage and Mortuary Trolleys.
LEEC were able to improve the overall manual handling from Body Store to Post Mortem Room using the LEEC Tray transfer system.
Equipment
The Post Mortem room equipment suitable for Bariatric (65 Stone) safe working load offered height adjustment and rotation, enabling an ergonomic solution for the end user.
Additional bespoke stainless steel work tops, sinks and storage made full use of the limited space available within the Post Mortem Room.
