A Refrigerated Body Storage Cabinet is a fully insulated unit designed to support coffins or body trays. The internal structure consists of open stainless steel racking allowing for an even temperature throughout the cabinet and easy access for practicality and cleaning.
The Refrigerated Body Storage Cabinet can be used by a single operator and features labour efficiency and manual handling techniques. A well designed unit that’s been specifically tailored to physically support the operator as well as improve dignity for the deceased within a mortuary setting.

- Material and Finish: Stainless steel 304, or 316, polished and grained, or, prime galvanized steel with white zinc-aluminium-coating, baked on enamel
- Panels: Frameless, self supporting modular panels, with tongue & groove profiling joints and integral cam-lock fasteners
- Panel Thickness: 80mm and 100mm thick panel options to suit, including the rebated doors
- Insulation: Water-based rigid PUR-system, foamed entirely without CFC, halogenated CFC, and fluorocarbon, in accordance with EU Halon Guidelines
- Doors: Rebated perimeter with magnetic PVC gasket, and doorframe heater tapes for freeze applications or high ambient/humidity locations.
- Sizes (bay width applications): 560, 660, 750, 900 (mm) tray applications
- Tiers: 2, 3, 4 or 5 tier cabinets
- Racking: Fully adjustable height stainless steel internal racking
- Rollers: Stub rollers for LEEC body storage trays, or, full width rollers for trays and coffin storage
- Cabinet Height: 1960, 2260, 2560 (mm), with custom sizes available upon request
- Refrigeration Plant: Various refrigeration solutions and mounting options available, wall/roof mounted integral monoblock, or, split systems.
- Refrigeration Applications: Chill temperatures (+4º to +6ºC) and Deep Freeze temperatures (-18ºC to -20ºC).
- Refrigeration Customisation: Subject to the size of the modular refrigerated space, the systems can be configured in various ways to provide appropriate air movement, efficient cooling, eco-power usage, resilience and robust strategies; single systems, 100% back-up (duty/standby, N+1), duplex and triplex configurations.
- Temperature controller: Fully adjustable digital local controllers, with options for increased features, temperature data logging, BMS/CCMS common fault alarm linking, dial-out facilities for out-of-hours, automated change over systems for resilience systems.
