Lift Assist

Ceiling mounted hoists are often expensive and not all sites have suitable structural fixing points to install these types of systems, LEEC has therefore developed an alternative method of transferring bodies between trays and coffins using available resouces and without lots of manual handling.

Most installations will have a Body Storage Cabinet and a Hydraulic Stacking Trolley, so by using the trolley as the height adjustable platform in place of a height adjustable hoist, this can reduce the cost outlay considerably.

SWL = Up to 65 Stone 412kg (Depending on fixings)

The Lift Assist System includes;

• Body cradle with body securing straps
• Removable tether bar with hooks to attach to the cradle and to beam
• Roof beam with 2 pre-set lengths and hook mounting hoop
• Cabinet reinforcement internal frames
• Side storage hooks for cradle and tether when not in use

Basis Operation;

• The Hydraulic Trolley is used to unload the tray from the cabinet and positioned underneath the Lift Assist Cradle
• The tray is raised up to the cradle and the securing straps are fastened around the body
• The trolley is lowered with the tray and the tray is then placed back in to the cabinet leaving the body held in the cradle of the Lift Assist
• The hydraulic trolley collects a coffin and is then postioned underneath the body
• The coffin is raised to encase the body and, the securing straps are then unfastened releasing the body inside the coffin
