LEEC invited by UKTI and Institute of Directors to sit on expert panel
Further to LEEC's Queen's Award for Enterprise- International Trade 2016, the UKTI and Institute of Directors decided to run a breakfast seminar for companies in the East Midlands region who are thinking about applying for the next round of Queen's Awards. LEEC's Business Development Manager, James Hawley attended on behalf of LEEC and sat on a panel with representatives from two additional companies who have also recently won the Queen's Award.
Presentations were delivered by the UKTI, Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, Institute of Directors as well as the Lord Lieutenants office. The panel then introduced their respective companies, explaining the process they had gone through and what winning the Queen's Award means for their businesses going forward.

Some great presentations and questions from the attending delegates made for an interesting and informative seminar.
